Listing & Information Policy
How listings appear on TripTock, how they're kept accurate and how owners can correct or remove them.
Where listings come from
Listings on TripTock come from owner submissions, public data sources and local research. We focus on independent and small businesses along the coast, but larger venues and chains may also appear where relevant.
Accuracy
We check listings before they go live and update details when we receive new information. Even so, opening times, prices and availability change frequently — visitors should always confirm key details directly with the business before travelling.
Owner edits and claims
Business owners can claim their listing to edit details, add photos, set opening hours and respond to enquiries. Verification is required — see Business Owners.
Removals
If a business has closed, has changed ownership, or you'd like a listing removed, contact us at info@triptock.uk and we will action the request promptly.
Reviews and ratings
TripTock does not publish user reviews or invented ratings. We don't fabricate awards or "verified" badges that aren't earned. Featured and claimed badges only appear when a real action has been taken by the business owner.
