A flat, pushchair-friendly walk along the seafront. You can carry on north towards Ingoldmells on the sand or the prom path.
Public gardens and open green space a short walk from the town centre. Walking and sitting are free; boat hire and rides are paid.
The Clock Tower, the pier from the sand, the beach at low tide and the seafront lights after dark all make good pictures without spending anything.
The arcades, rides and stalls charge for what you use, but walking through the lights, noise and sea air costs nothing.
Skegness faces east, so sunrise over the water is the standout free moment of the day. Check tide and weather before setting out.
Head north for dunes and quieter sand, or south towards the nature reserve edge. Distances add up quickly, so plan your turn-back point.

ExploreIt varies week to week. We only show approved events with confirmed dates, and we only mark an event free when the listed details say so — everything else is marked check price.
We label an event free entry only when the event's own listed details state it. If entry price is unclear we say check price so you can confirm with the organiser.
